IBPS Clerk VI 2016: Important dates
The
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has published a notification
regarding the posts of Clerk. There are a total of 19,243 posts. The interested
candidates can apply latest by September 12.

candidates should have acquired a graduation degree from a recognized
university or institute.
Age limit:
The maximum
age of the candidate should be 28 and minimum 21 years old.

The exam will comprise 100 questions based on English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The exam will be held for a duration of one hour. It will carry a total of 100 marks.

Examination:
The exam will consist of 200 questions based on Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to banking), and Computer knowledge. The duration of the exam would be for two hours and 15 minutes. It will carry a total of 200 marks.

There will be a penalty for wrong answers as one fourth (0.25) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, then, there will be no penalty for that question.
The Pre-Exam
Training will be conducted from November 7 to November 12. All the eligible
candidates, who had opted for and wished to avail of pre-examination training,
should fill in the relevant column in the online application. While training
will be imparted free of cost, all other expenses regarding travelling,
boarding, lodging etc will have to be borne by the candidate for
attending the pre-examination training program at the designated centers.
